It may be mentioned here that Arvind Kejriwal, who spearheaded the party’s landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly polls, will take oath as the chief minister for the third consecutive time in Delhi’s iconic Ramlila Maidan, the same venue where he led an anti-corruption protest along with activist Anna Hazare way back in 2011.
Amusingly, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has also invited “little mufflerman”, the baby who went viral on social media after he was made to dress like Kejriwal, alongwith the iconic muffler that Kejriwal has immortalized in pop-culture consciousness.
A tweet that was sent out from the official Twitter handle of the AAP reads, “Big Announcement:Baby Mufflerman is invited to the swearing in ceremony of @ArvindKejriwal on 16th Feb. Suit up Junior!”
In the election that was conducted on February 8, the AAP secured a landslide victory, winning 62 out of the 70 seats. The BJP managed to win 8 seats, while the Congress, once a dominant force in the national capital, drew a blank.
