The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Delhi chief Manoj Tiwari has rejected the exit poll predictions of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leading in the Assembly elections and said that he was confident of BJP coming to power with 55 seats in the 70-member Assembly.

“We will win 48-plus seats. I will not be surprised even if we win 55,” said Tiwari while speaking with the mediapersons and added that “It’s time for exact polls after exit polls.”
Tiwari went on to say that the BJP had already begun celebrations of winning in Delhi. It may be mentioned here that as per the latest Election Commission trends, the AAP is leading the Delhi Assembly Elections with 53 seats so far while the BJP secured 17.
Earlier, on the day of voting, Manoj Tiwari had tweeted, “All these exit polls will fail. Save this tweet. BJP will form a government in Delhi with 48 seats. Don’t look for an excuse to blame EVMs.”
