Actress Swara Bhaskar, who is a known supporter of the ‘Aam Aadmi’ man, taking to Twitter, wrote, “Dilli Meri Jaan! Phir sey pyaar ho gaya tum sey!!” [Delhi is my life, once again have fallen in love with you].

Ace composer Vishal Dadlani, who joined the AAP campaign ahead of the February 8 elections, opined that “hate” has lost the election. Writing in Hindi, the composer posted, “नफ़्रत की हार, मेहनत और सच्चाई की जीत. सुनते तो हैं, लेकिन दिल्ली ये लगातार तीसरी बार साबित कर चुकी है. जय हिंद, मेरे दोस्तों, मेरे अपनों, मेरे सरफ़रोश हमवतन. असीम प्यार और अनेक धन्याद!”

Bollywood diva Urmila Matondkar, who recently left the Congress party after a brief foray into politics, wrote, “Congratulations Arvind Kejriwal on sweeping victory against huge odds.Great to see victory of “काम की राजनीती”. It’s also a victory of people of Delhi as they show that we need to vote on d basis of Development n Progress for Progressive India.Bravo.”

Meanwhile, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has congratulated the Delhi CM. “Congratulations to AAP and Shri Arvind Kejriwal Ji for the victory in the Delhi Assembly Elections. Wishing them the very best in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Delhi”, he wrote.
