The Naga Intellectual Forum has alleged the “Indian” interlocutors of playing a sinister and wanton gameplan in order to misrepresent the unity among the Nagas.

In its memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the forum has sought his attention to certain factors that might aid in an honorable and acceptable solution through the Naga Framework Agreement.
It further stated, “The Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the present Nagaland Governor and interlocutor, RN Ravi flaunting as trophy in the media that all stakeholders of the three neighboring Naga states will be duly consulted is rather a matter of India’s own incompetency. It’s a case of India Inviting another India as stakeholders.”
The Forum also alleged that R.N Ravi was stalking on all the Naga political and social corridors in a bid to harness the anti-NSCN (IM) elements of conflicting groups to willfully set Nagas against Nagas. It termed it as a direct attempt and stated that it demerits the main negotiating group, “the NSCN-IM’s legitimate claim for sovereignty”.
At one point of time the interlocutor had desperately even served an ultimatum of the months to outmaneuver and dislodge the NSCN-IM and replace by NNPG, read the memorandum.
The Naga Intellectual Forum has also given a “Solution Hint” in its memorandum to Modi. It read, “Nagas cannot be quelled by use of brute force. SOVEREIGNTY as was once the Nagas’ and peaceful co-existence can only be honorable to the Nagas and acceptable to our people even as India’s pride remains solidly intact.”
The best thing according to the Naga Intellectual Forum, undersigned by Senior Adviser, Beton Tongsin and Convenor, Worthington Mahung, read, “We could contribute to world peace and fellowship is by sharing our similarities and celebrate our differences through peaceful co-existence under the principle of ‘Shared Sovereignty’ as the historic Framework Agreement 3rd Aug. 2015 envisages.”
