Replying to media persons’ question on the statement made by the Congress MP, Sarma said, “Who is Pradyut Bordoloi, I don’t know him. So, I will not be able to comment on anything related to Pradyut Bordoloi. I have to look up in Wikipedia who is Pradyut Bordoloi.”
On the other hand, Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also informed that there are about 26 railway crossings in the state which halt vehicle movement at the arrival of trains. So the state government will construct flyovers in such crossings. 13 flyovers have been already preceded and 13 will start soon.
The state will adopt similar project for the Tinsukia crossing with Rs 60 crore allocation, PWD will construct the flyover. The railway department and central government will bear Rs 30 crore each for the construction.
