Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu turns 40 today! The Arunachal Chief Minister, who was born in assuming office of Chief Minister in July 2016, he and his government have twice changed their party affiliation; in September from the Indian National Congress to the Peoples Party of Arunachal.

He was born on 21 August 1979  in Tawang district, Arunachal Pradesh, India, Pema Khandu is the current 9th Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.

Leaders from across the Northeast wished the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the august occasion of his 40th birthday.

Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio write, “Happy Birthday, Honourable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Best wishes for your good health, happiness and long life.”

Meanwhile, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma wrote, “Happy Birthday my dear friend ji. May God almighty bless you abundantly with good health and posterity.”

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, wrote: “Warm greetings to my Party colleague and CM of Arunachal Pradesh Shri ji on his Birthday. Over the past years he has been dedicatedly serving Arunachal Pradesh as a CM. I pray for his long and healthy life.”

Wishing Khandu on his birthday, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal wrote, “Praying for your good health and may the state scale greater heights of prosperity and development under your leadership.
