According to reports, some miscreants had pelted stones at the MP’s convoy near Pathsala in Barpeta district of Assam. Pictures have surfaced which show damage to the windshields one of the vehicles in the MP’s convoy.

A case has been registered at the Patarcharkuchi Police in this regard.

The Kokrajhar MP has said, “Someone pelted stones at the Safari vehicle I was travelling in, but the stone accidentally struck a Bolero in the convoy as we were traveling in high velocity. If the stone had landed on the driver, the vehicle would have surely met with an accident”.
