The Additional Director General of NCC North East region, Major General Bipin Bakshi yesterday interacted with NCC Cadets and Associated NCC Officers from various schools and colleges of Kohima region.

Appreciating the excellent performance of NCC in Nagaland, he commended the hard work being put in by officers and cadets alike. He also impressed upon the cadets on the importance of self discipline and taking pride in uniform.

Later in the day, General Bakshi called upon Chief Secretary Temjen Toy and apprised him about the scope of NCC activities in the State and also discussed future expansion plans, establishment of a multi disciplinary activity centre and measures to optimise NCC training in Nagaland.
