Guwahati, July 14, 2019:
The ongoing 28 National Sub-Junior Baseball Championship scheduled from July 13 to July 17 has rolled up with controversy.
The event is organized at the Nehru Stadium and Judges Field in Guwahati, Assam.
The sub-junior baseball players coming from outside Assam have alleged that the organizers lacked proper arrangements of lodging and food.
Reportedly, the junior players from Shimla have alleged they were allotted TC Government Girls’ School and they spent their night in an unhygienic room. Addressing the media, they informed that they have spent the night at the veranda of the school.

It is to be mentioned that the competition has been organized under the banner of Assam Baseball Association.
