The video first came to notice when it was posted on Facebook page ‘Amar Sadiya’ and has racked up 4,400 views at the time of filing this report. It has also received 193 ‘reactions’ and has been shared 75 times.

The video was reportedly shot on Monday inside a crowded city bus in Guwahati city.

The story begins with the girl requesting the bus to be stopped. She then goes on to accuse the person sitting beside her of “misbehaving” with her and touching her ‘private parts’.

“Are you not married? Do you not have children? Are you not ashamed to touch a girl your daughter’s age on her private parts?”, she charges.

The man is seen attempting to evade the girl and gives the excuse that he had been sleeping as he was tired of working non-stop for twelve hours. He reveals that his name is Habibur Rahman before he disembarks from the bus in haste.

The girl later states that she did not receive any assistance from the other passengers in the bus, and asked the viewers to suggest what measures should be taken against men like that.

“I was on my way to Downtown hospital to check on my grandmother who had met with an accident, but I was subjected to humiliation by the old man”, she says.

“No one helped me in the bus, in fact some people aided him to get away. This is what the so-called ‘polite society’ is actually like”, the girl laments.
