Guwahati, May 30, 2019:
We often keep chanting the famous proverb:
“Simple Living High Thinking”
This has been well set by the MP from Dibrugarh constituency, Rameswar Teli who will be a part of Modi Ministry representing Assam.

While most of the MPs and MLAs live a luxurious lifestyle, Rameswar Teli has portrayed a different picture.
Teli’s house is neither a multi-storey building nor a well constructed Assam-type house.
Bearing the photos of great statesmen like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Mahatma Gandhi, and other leaders, his office is made of bamboo.
His uncle is a hand-cart puller through which he ekes out two square meals a day.
It is to be mentioned that Rameswar Teli is all set to be a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet which will be sworn in at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today at 7 pm. He has received the call from PMO.
Rameswar Teli, who contested the 2019 election from the Dibrugarh Constituency, defeated former Congress Union Minister Paban Singh Ghatowar in Dibrugarh by a handy margin of 1,85,347 votes. He was elected as a member of parliament from Dibrugarh constituency in 2014 as well.
