Three cadres NSCN (R) cadres have been nabbed by the security forces in frontier state Arunachal Pradesh for allegedly carrying out extortion activities.

The three notorious cadres fell into the authorities’ dragnet after the no. 9 regiment carried out an operation based on specific intel from unnamed sources.

The apprehended cadres have been identified as self-styled captain Wangzeng Pangtha, Limlang Tutsa, and Samol Jugli.

An AK-56 along with 20 rounds of live ammunition as well as an M-20 pistol along with 14 live rounds as well as three cellular devices were seized from the NSCN (R) cadres.
