The Gamusa is an article of great significance for the people of Assam. It is generally a white rectangular piece of cloth with primarily a red border on three sides and red woven motifs on the fourth. It is usually gifted by the Assamese as a symbol of goodwill and respect during the occasion of Bihu.

Moreover, Parag, who was only playing his second IPL match representing the Rajasthan Royals, was instrumental in the side’s 5-wicket win against former Champions Mumbai Indians as he scored a valuable 43 runs. It is worth mentioning that if Parag had scored a fifty, he would have become the youngest to score a half-century in the IPL.

The boys from Rajasthan overhauled the target of 161 set by Mumbai Indians with five balls to spare.
