This year something has gone missing, right?

Sarbananda Sonowal led BJP-government must have forgotten to maintain the years long practice of addressing the people of Assam on the very first day of the year disclosing their resolutions and developmental schemes for the past and plans for  the future.

Speaking to InsideNE, former Chief Minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday said, “ Every year all the people eagerly waits for the government to release its new schemes and plans for the development of the state, correction of the mistakes and pray for peace and tranquillity. During the time of our government, we never missed out that opportunity to connect with our people and ask for their views too. But this year, the government in Delhi who claimed of “Acche Din Ayenge” has made the major lapse. They must have informed on what they have succeeded so far on the state development.”

He added, “They must have informed the people of Assam what they are planning for the future but the current CM is not at all concerned of the fact in which direction the state is heading, what schemes have been planned for 2019?”

Meanwhile, CM Sarbananda Sonowal was seen in a video making new year wish to the people of Assam in electronic media platforms.
