The AANA members informed that the agitating nurses were called for a meeting by Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Pijush Hazarika, along with Principal Secretary of Health & Family Welfare department, Samir Kumar Sinha but they didn’t turn up.

They also said to have arranged for a meeting with the state government on December 4.

The All Assam Nurses’ Association (AANA) took out a state-wide indefinite protest demanding same salary of the Staff Nurse Service rule for staff nurse from last Monday.
