According to the police, tinted glass is one of the major factors in the occurrence of many crimes such as rape, molestation and others.
The drive was carried out at Gandhi Statue, Phungreitang. Many vehicles with tinted glasses had them removed on the spot by the police. Due to traffic congestion, vehicle numbers with tinted glasses were noted by the police officials and the drivers were warned to remove their tints.
